Belleville Police Service responded to 51 calls for service from the 19th of July 2020 at 5:00 a.m. to the 20th of July 2020 at 5:00 a.m.

 

3 Day Suspension & Drive Under Suspension Charges

Belleville, Ontario – On the 19th of July at 9:20 p.m. Police responded to the area of Ann Street regarding an erratic driving complaint. Police attended the area and located the erratic driver and conducted an investigation. Police learned that the 33-year-old female driver was a suspended driver. As a result of the investigation, the female was charged with Driving While Under Suspension and also issued a 3-day suspension. She was issued a Part III summons and given a court date of August 10th 2020 to face the charge.

 

 

City Police also report a steady 24-hour period ending at 5:00 a.m. on July 20th, 2020.  Police did respond to several incidents that ended peacefully with Police intervention. Those incidents included numerous noise complaints, disturbances, domestics, suspicious persons and vehicles, traffic complaints, neighbour and family disputes, animal complaints, and calls to assist ambulance.
