The Belleville Police Service responded to 76 calls from June 30th 2021 at 5:00 a.m. to July 1st 2021 at 5:00 a.m.

Break and Enter

On June 30th 2021, at approximately 06:10 p.m., Police attended a residence in the West end of Belleville in regards to a break and enter in progress. Police searched the residence and located a male outside hiding behind a hot tub. The 50-year-old male from Belleville was arrested for break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence, and was held for a show cause hearing on July 1st 2021.

Bail Violations

On June 30th, 2021, at approximately 11:25 p.m., Police attended St Louis Bar and Grill in regards to a fight outside involving several males. When Police arrived, they observed a male laying on the ground with minor injuries. The male was taken to Belleville Hospital to have his injuries assessed. Once released from BGH, he was brought back to the Belleville Police Service, as he was currently on a recognizance and was breaching some of his conditions. The 25-year-old male from Quinte West was charged with two counts of Breach of Recognizance and was held for a show cause hearing on July 1st 2021.
