Disturbance

Belleville, ON – On the 31st of December 2020, at approximately 4:00 p.m. police responded to the area of Coleman St for a large disturbance in a backyard.  Two males were fighting.  Police separated the parties and determined it was a consensual fight without any major injuries.  No charges were laid,

Theft from a residence

Belleville, ON – On the 31st of December 2020, at approximately 5:15 p.m. police attended a residence on Holloway St.  The homeowner reported that he heard his door open and saw a male inside his unit, stealing items.  The suspect fled prior to police arrival.  He is described a smaller male with a large grey coat with fur trim.  Anyone with information about this theft should contact Cst Laura White at (613) 966-0882 ext 4218.

Assault

Belleville, ON – On the 31st of December 2020, at approximately 8:30 p.m. police responded to the area of Everett St for the report of an assault.  It was reported that a number of people had entered a home and assaulted a female resident.  Minor injuries were reported.  Police continue to investigate this incident.  Anyone with information is encouraged to call Belleville Police or Crime Stoppers.
