The Belleville Police Service responded to 49 calls for service from February 14th, 2021 at 5:00 a.m. to February 15th, 2021 at 5:00 a.m.
Arrested on Warrant
Belleville, ON – On the 14th of February 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Police observed a male in the area of Moira Street West who was wanted on a warrant out of Belleville. The warrant, for Fail to Comply with Probation Order x2, Forcible Confinement and Assault with A Weapon, was confirmed and officers arrested the 24-year-old Belleville male, Jacob Stanzel, on the strength of the warrant and transported him to the Belleville Police Service where he is being held for bail.
Arrested for Breaching Bail Conditions
Belleville, ON – On the 14th of February 2021 at 7:15 p.m. Police received information that a male was in the area of Tracey Park Drive who was breaching his bail conditions. Police attended the area and located the 31-year-old Belleville male who was in fact breaching several of his release conditions. The male was arrested and transported to the Belleville Police Service where he is being held for bail on 3 charges of Breach of Probation and 3 charges of Breach of Undertaking.
City Police also report a fairly steady 24-hour period ending at 5:00 a.m. on February 15th 2021. Police did respond to several incidents that ended peacefully with Police intervention. Those incidents included numerous noise complaints, disturbances, domestics, suspicious persons and vehicles, traffic complaints, neighbour and family disputes, animal complaints, and calls to assist ambulance.
