Dangerous Driving and Flight from Police
Belleville, ON- On the 13th of February 2021, at 12:00 a.m., police observed a vehicle in the east end that appeared to be driven by an impaired driver. When police attempted to stop the vehicle, it took off at a high rate of speed only to collide with a vehicle and a home a short distance away. With the suspect vehicle wedged between the parked vehicle and the home, the suspect quickly exited the passenger side window only to be met by officers where he was arrested. A 22-year-old male from Belleville, was charged with dangerous operation, flight from police, and two breaches of undertaking. He was held for a show cause hearing on the 13th of February 2021.
Breach of the Peace
Belleville, ON- On the 13th of February 2021, at 3:35 a.m., police attended a north end residence for a report of a family dispute. The involved parties had been drinking and causing a disturbance within the household. A 47-year-old Belleville woman was arrested for breaching the peace and later released unconditionally when deemed to no longer pose a threat to other members of the household.
