Garage Break-In
Belleville, ON – On December 4th 2020 at 2:06 p.m., police were called to a damaged garage door at a residence in the south-east end of the city. An investigation revealed that unknown person(s) attempted to gain into a garage on the property. This was reported to have occurred between November 30th and December 3rd. It was determined that the garage door had been tampered with, causing $1,000.00 in damage. Police report that it appeared as though no entry was made, and nothing was stolen. R.I.D.E.
Belleville, ON – City police conducted a holiday season Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere program on the evening of December 3rd and into the early morning of December 4th. A total of 167 vehicles and their drivers were checked throughout the city for signs of alcohol or drug impairment. Police are happy to report no such drivers were detected, and no other highway traffic act charges were laid either.
