The Belleville Police Service responded to 58 calls for service from December 30th, 2020 at 5:00 a.m. to December 31st, 2020 at 5:00 a.m.

Motor Vehicle Collision involving deer

Belleville, Ontario – On the 30th of December 2020, at approximately 7:34 a.m. police responded to the area of Hwy 37 and Ritz Rd where a vehicle had struck a deer. There was damage to the vehicle but no injuries.  The deer was apparently uninjured and fled prior to police arrival.

Workplace Injury

Belleville, ON – On the 30th of December 2020, at approximately 2:00 p.m. police responded with Belleville Fire and Paramedics to an industrial location where an employee was injured in the arm while operating a machine.  The 20 yr old man was assisted by emergency services and taken directly to Kingston General Hospital for treatment.  The Ministry of Labour is continuing to investigate the circumstances.  

Theft of Vehicle

Belleville, ON – On the 30th of December 2020 police received information that a black 2007 Ford Focus had been stolen from an address on Yeomans St.  The vehicle had ON licence plates CABS 678 attached.  Anyone with information about this theft is asked to contact Cst Andrea Boulay – (613) 966-0882 ext 4183 or Crime Stoppers.
