Theft
Belleville, ON – December 23rd, 2020
Sometime during the early morning hours on Wednesday, unknown suspect(s) entered a residential property on Herchimer Avenue and removed an exhaust system off a pickup truck. There is no discretion of the suspect(s) at this time. Impaired Driving Warrant
Belleville, ON – December 23rd, 2020 – 8:30am
City police observed a white Mazda travelling on Victoria Av and believed that the plates on the vehicle were not registered to the vehicle that was observed. Police stopped the white Mazda on Victoria St at Pinnacle Av. Police identified the driver and confirmed that there was an outstanding warrant for the drivers arrest for Impaired Driving and Operation of a Motor Vehicle while over 80mgs. The investigation also revealed that the driver had been drinking that morning. The accused, 23-year-old Bradley Douglas of Corbyville was charged with the following offences;
- Operation of a Motor Vehicle While Impaired
- Operation of a Motor Vehicle while Blood Alcohol Content Exceeded 80mgs
- Fail to Stop at a Red Light
- Fail to Surrender Drivers Licence
- Novice Driver – Driving while Blood Alcohol Content Exceeded 80mgs
The accused was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in court on February 4th, 2020 to answer to his charges. The suspect vehicle was seized at the scene.
Breach Warrants
Belleville, ON – December 23rd, 2020 – 1:00am
Belleville City Police received notification from the Quinte Detention Centre that an inmate was being released on outstanding charges that were before the court out of Kingston and that he was being released and Belleville Police had outstanding warrants for the individual. City Officers attended the detention centre and took the accused into custody on the outstanding two warrants. The accused, 39-year-old Aaron Climan of Kingston was charged for the following criminal offences that were already before the court;
- Fail to Comply with an Appearance Notice
- Breach of Probation
The accused was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in court in Belleville on January 21st, 2020 to answer to his charges.
