The Belleville Police Service responded to 74 calls for service between the 28th of April, 2021 at 5:00 a.m. and the 29th April, 2021 at 5:00 a.m.
IMPAIRED OPERATION:
Belleville ON – On the 28th of April 2021, at approximately 8:08 p.m., police responded to a call in the south-west end of the city regarding suspicious vehicle. Officers attended the scene and found the suspect vehicle still in the area. Upon speaking with the suspect driver, officers arrested and charged a 59-year-old male from Corbyville for operation while impaired. Christopher Graham was released on an Undertaking with first appearance date of May 26th, 2021.
LIQUOR LICENCE ACT:
Belleville ON – On the 28th of April, 2021, at approximately 5:24 pm, police responded to a call in the south-east end of the city regarding the concern for a person’s well being near the water. Officer’s located a 36-year-old Belleville man and due to a concern for his own immediate safety and the safety of others, he was arrested for being intoxicated in public place. The man was later released on a Part 1 offence notice once he was deemed to no longer pose a threat to himself or others.
