Break and Enter
Belleville ON - On April 22st, 2021 at 12:53 p.m. while on general patrol, Belleville Police located a 57-year-old male walking in the east end of Belleville who was wanted on charges for Break and Enter, Possession of stolen property and Fraud. Officers arrested the male on the outstanding charges and escorted him to the Belleville Police Service. The male was held in custody for a bail hearing on April 23rd, 2021.
Traffic Enforcement
Belleville ON – On April 22nd, 2021 at 8:25 p.m. officers were patrolling in the area of College St. East when they observed a vehicle with license plates that did not match the vehicle. Upon further investigation, officers learned that the 31-year-old male driver did not have insurance for the motor vehicle. Subsequently the driver was charged with using plates not authorized for the vehicle and for operating a vehicle without insurance.
Belleville ON – On April 23, 2021 at 2:00 a.m. while on general patrol an officer observed a vehicle conduct a U-turn and then continue to drive at a slow rate of speed. The officer conducted a query of the vehicles registered owner and learned that the male was a suspended driver. A vehicle stop was conducted and the driver was identified as the owner of the vehicle. The male was charged with operating a motor vehicle while his license was suspended.
