The Belleville Police Service responded to 47 calls for service between April 16^th, 2020 at 5:00 a.m. and April 17^th, 2020 at 5:00 a.m.

Shoplifting Incident

Belleville, ON – On the 16^th of April 2020, at approximately 8:56 a.m., Belleville Police received a call to a North end business regarding a shoplifter. A male was observed loading stolen items into a Silver Chevrolet 1500 pick up truck. An employee confronted the male and recovered the stolen merchandise, but the suspect left prior to police arrival. The investigation is on-going.
