Car vs. Loader

Belleville ON- On April 14th 2021 at 7:00 a.m., Belleville Police were dispatched to Avondale Road regarding a motor vehicle collision.  Officers arrived on scene and observed that a car had collided with a frontend loader in a construction zone.  No injuries were reported but the car was not driveable.  As a result of the investigation the driver of the car was charged with making an unsafe turn.

Bail Violations

Belleville ON-On April 14th 2021 at 3:00 p.m., a Belleville Police officer on patrol stopped a suspicious vehicle in the east end of the city.  The driver was found to be currently on a court-imposed release order on outstanding sexual assault charges.  Two of those conditions included house arrest and not to operate a motor vehicle.  As a result the 40-year-old Belleville resident was arrested and charged with two counts of failing to comply with a release order and was held for a bail hearing on the 15th of April 2021.
