Public Intoxication

On the 22^nd of May 2023 at 10:45am, Belleville Police received a call to attend a west end location regarding a male that was heavily intoxicated. The caller advised that the male was headed to a residence and that he was unwanted and the occupants were concerned that he would attempt to break into the residence due to his level on intoxication. The male was located by police and confirmed that he had consumed several alcoholic beverages. A 40-year-old Belleville man was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place. He was later released on a Part I offence notice.
