Cops & Kids Fishing Derby

The Belleville Police Service would like to invite everyone to the upcoming Cops and Kids Fishing Derby which runs “rain or shine” at Victoria Park in Belleville on the 24^th of June 2023.  Events details include:

Date: June 24^th, 2023 from 0900 to noon

Location: Victoria Park Belleville

Kids 12 years and younger are free

Free lunch provided for Kids

First 250 Kids will receive a prize

Breach of Probation

On the 3rd of May 2023 at 10:30 a.m., Belleville Police were called to financial building downtown regarding a male causing a scene.  Officers arrived on scene and observed a 56-year-old male known to police, yelling at customer’s and blocking the entrance-way.  A Police check on the male revealed that he was currently on probation. The male of no fixed address was arrested for breach of probation and causing a disturbance.  He was held from a bail hearing
