Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 85 calls for service over the period beginning at 5:00 am on the 13 of April, 2023 to 5:00 am on the 14th of April, 2023. 

 

Attempted Commercial Break-in

Unknown suspects attempted to enter a business in the area of Maitland and Farnham roads overnight. Shortly after 1 a.m. Friday, suspects smashed a window of the establishment, however left without gaining entry.

Anyone with information about this or other incidents in this area are asked to call police or submit a tip anonymously via Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or crimestoppersquinte.ca.

 

Stolen phone

Officers responded to a business on Charlotte Street around 1 p.m. Thursday for a report of a theft.

According to employees at the location, an unknown suspect entered the premises and stole a cell phone. There are currently no suspects.

 

Theft

Shortly before 3 p.m. Thursday police attended an address on South Front Street in relation to a theft. An unknown suspect entered a shed and stole a number of spray-paint cans. There are currently no suspects.

Missing person located

On April 5, 2023 Belleville police requested the public’s assistance in locating a 59-year-old Belleville man who was last seen in the area of South Front Street.

The male has been located.
