Stunt Driving
On 20 March 2023 at 6:34 am police were conducting traffic enforcement on Wallbridge Loyalist Rd. Police observed a vehicle at a high rate of speed and clocked it at 132 Km/hr in a 60 Km/hr zone. A 23 yr old Belleville male was charged with stunt driving. The vehicle was towed and his drivers licence was suspended. He was given a court date in May.
Mischief
On 20 March 2023 at 8:12 am police attended an apartment building on Haig Rd in regards to a mischief complaint relating to laundry machines. Kyle Lucas a 34 yr old Belleville resident was observed on video attempting to break into the machines with a crowbar. He was arrested and charged with mischief. Lucas was released on an Undertaking with a court date of April 13 2023.
Breach of Probation
On 21 March 2023 at 4:00 am police attended an address on Forin St in regards to an unwanted person. Upon arrival police located a 45 yr old male in the residence, where he was on probation to not be. He was arrested and charged with two counts of breach of probation and one count of unlawfully in a dwelling house. The male had just been released on probation on the 20 March 2023, subsequently he was held for a bail hearing scheduled for the 21 March 2023.
