Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 74 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on the 15th of June, 2022 to 5:00 am on the 16th of June, 2022.

Motor Vehicle Collision

On the 15th of June, 2022, at 9:46 pm, Belleville Police and Hastings/Prince Edward Paramedics were called to Airport Parkway Belleville, Ontario, for the report of a two-vehicle crash.  Investigation showed one vehicle had run into the back of another vehicle.  One person was transported to Belleville General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation into the motor vehicle collision is continuing.  

Mischief, Resist Arrest, Assault Police, Breach Undertaking

On the 15th of June, 2022, at 8:28 pm, Belleville Police were called to the area of Harriett Street and North Front Street Belleville, Ontario, for reports that a female had thrown a rock at a passing vehicle, causing damage.  While officers were arresting the female, she resisted and fought with the police.  Upon arriving at the police station, spit at officers. A check of the female revealed that she is currently on release conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. As a result, the thirty-nine-year-old female Belleville, Ontario resident was charged with Mischief, Resist Arrest, Assault Police and Breach of an Undertaking.  The female was held for a show cause hearing on the 16th of June 2022 in Belleville, Ontario.
