On the 9th of June, 2022, at 11:00 pm, Belleville Police were called to the south-central part of Belleville, Ontario, due to a group of people arguing and a possible firearm observed. Police arrived on the scene and, based on information provided, arrested a thirty-three-year-old Belleville, Ontario female for Pointing a firearm, Careless use of a firearm, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose and Causing a disturbance. After the initial arrest, the female assaulted the police and resisted arrest. As a result, the female was additionally charged with two counts of assault police. The female was held for a show cause hearing on June 10th, 2022.
Fail to comply
On June 9th, 2022, at 9:11 am, Belleville Police received a request for a wellbeing check at a residence in the east end of Belleville. Upon arriving and conducting the check, Police discovered a male that was found to be breaching numerous release order conditions and was subsequently arrested and charged with four counts of Failing to comply with a release order. The male was held for a show cause hearing on June 10th, 2022.
