Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 197 calls for service over a 3-day period beginning at 5:00 am on the 6th of May, 2022 to 5:00 am on the 9th of May, 2022.

Impaired Driver

Belleville ON- On 6 May 2022, at 9:30pm, Police attended a two-vehicle crash at Dundas Street West and Palmer Road.  An eastbound truck turned left into the path of a westbound Jeep.  The driver of the jeep was injured in the crash. Wesley Anderson, 26, of Foxboro, was charged with careless driving causing bodily harm and 80 or more mgs of alcohol causing bodily harm.  He has a court date of 26 May 2022

Fail to stop

Belleville ON- On 7 May 2022, police were patrolling Old Highway 2 at about 6:39PM when they clocked a White Dodge Journey at 88km/h in the 60km/h zone.  Officers attempted to stop the vehicle but it failed to pull over and accelerated eastbound towards Shannonville.  The pursuit was terminated for public safety reasons.  Anyone with information or dashcam footage from that area is encouraged to contact Belleville Police

Impaired Driver

Belleville ON- On the 8th of May 2022 at 6:00 p.m, police responded to the area of Dundas Street East for a report of an impaired driver. Police located the suspect vehicle on Dundas Street East, and initiated a traffic stop. Further investigation revealed that the driver of the vehicle was driving while impaired. Police arrested 58-year-old Belleville woman, Caron MACMILLAN, for Operation While Impaired. She was transported to the Belleville Police Service where she was released on an Undertaking with a 9 June 2022 court date
