Domestic assault

On 5 May 2022, at 2:00pm, Belleville Police attended a residence in the east end regarding a domestic disturbance.  As a result of the investigation, a male located at the residence was arrested and charged with domestic assault and two counts of uttering death threats.  The 34-year-old Belleville resident was held for a bail hearing on the 6^th of May 2022.  Minor injuries were reported.

Domestic assault

On 5 May 2022, at 11:00pm, Belleville Police were dispatched to a south end residence regarding a domestic disturbance.  Officers arrived on scene and noted damage to a door frame.  The female occupant advised she was assaulted by the male who was also located inside.  As a result of the investigation, the 41-year-old Tweed resident was arrested and charged with domestic assault and domestic mischief.  The accused was held for a bail hearing on the 6th of May 2022.  Minor injuries were reported.
