Shooting Incident in Belleville

Belleville Police Investigating Shooting

Belleville, ON – On the 3rd of September 2019 at approximately 1:50 am, police were called to the area of Frank and Union streets for a report of an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Belleville General Hospital and then transferred to Kingston General Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. Members of the Ontario Provincial Police K-9 unit attended to assist Belleville Police with a search for suspects with negative results. The investigation remains ongoing and will be led by the Criminal Investigations Branch.
