The last warmth of summer means it’s time to ensure kids’ warmth for winter, and the Adopt-a-Child team is ready for the challenge. But as always, the Belleville-based charity, now in its 33^rd year of providing children with winter clothing, will need donations to succeed. Chair Ann Earle-Dempsey, a Belleville police detective constable, said the program is in good shape, with a considerable supply of clothing already stocked, but more will be needed.
