Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 125 calls for service over the weekend beginning at 5:00 am on the 17th of December, 2022 to 5:00 am on the 19th of December, 2022.

Stolen Vehicle Recovered

Early Sunday morning on December 18, 2022, the Belleville Police located a late model Dodge Ram pick-up truck on union Street.  The vehicle had been reported stolen from a dealership in Peterborough back in November.  The pick-up truck was towed to the police service for expert forensic examination.  The investigation is ongoing. 

Stolen Vehicle Reported

On December 18th, 2022, at 4:25pm, the Belleville Police responded to the area of Victoria Avenue and William Street in regards to a report of a stolen vehicle.  The unoccupied parked vehicle was running to warm up when it was taken.  The stolen vehicle is described as a 2006 Red Hyundai Tucson, similar to the photo below.  Police are continuing this investigation and asking the public that if they have any information to please contact the investigating officer, Constable Devan Aris at daris@bellevilleps.ca or 613-966-0882 ext. 4196.
