Mischief

On the 4th of October 2022, at 9:30 pm, Belleville Police received a call about a male breaking windows on Front Street Belleville, Ontario. Upon arrival, officers discovered that the suspect had broken several windows on businesses on Front Street and Pinnacle Street. There was a total of 10 businesses vandalized. Police are continuing the investigation. The suspect was a white male, bald, approximately 5’8, medium build. He was wearing tan pants, a Brown/grey jacket, and carrying a blue backpack. Breach of Release Order

On the 5th of October 2022, at 2:15 am, Belleville Police received a report of two people going through yards and causing problems. Police attended the area and located two youths. A record check indicated that a 15-year-old Belleville, Ontario, male was breaching his release condition by not obeying a curfew. The second, a 16-year-old Belleville, Ontario youth, was arrested for trespassing. The 15-year-old was charged with one count of breaching a release condition and later released, and the 16-year-old was issued a Provincial offence notice for trespassing. In accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act the names of the youths are not being released.
