Mischief

On the 3rd of October, 2022, Belleville Police received a report in regards to a mischief. The complainant was parked at a residence on Dundas Street East Belleville, Ontario, overnight on Friday, the 23rd of September. The complainant came outside around 2:00 am and found that her tire was punctured. There are no suspects at this time. Belleville Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Belleville Police or Quinte Crime Stoppers.

Theft

On the 3rd of October 2022 at 11:27 am, Belleville Police received a report in regards to a theft on Campbell Street in Belleville, Ontario. The victim reported that somebody had stolen her mailbox with a number of letters in it. There are no suspects at this time. Belleville Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Belleville Police or Quinte Crime Stoppers.

Project RENEWAL Drug Arrest

On October 3rd 2022, Project Renewal arrested 40-year-old Omar Williams of London, Ontario on outstanding warrants by the Napanee Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police. As a result of the arrest, a quantity of illegal drugs was located:

Items Seized

  1. 40.8 grams of suspected fentanyl.
  2. 7.3 grams of Psilocybin.
  3. 115.3 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine

As a result, Williams was charged with the following charges:

  1. Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking Fentanyl
  2. Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking Crystal Meth
  3. Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking Psilocybin
  4. Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
  5. Fail to Comply with Release Order

Williams was held in custody pending a Bail Hearing on October 4th, 2022
